After graduating high school, Amy knew that she needed to venture beyond her small town and pursue her musical dreams. She headed East as a music scholar and found herself in the vibrant music scene of Philadelphia. There, she not only honed her skills but also composed for and fronted several metal bands, leaving a lasting impact on the local music scene.
Amy's musical style is a fusion of her love for 80s female-fronted rock and the current symphonic metal bands emerging from Europe. She cites Pat Benatar as her biggest vocal influence, as she aspired to be the next Benatar during her formative years. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Within Temptation, Nightwish, and Delain, Amy is determined to push her music in the direction of the European symphonic metal scene.
Currently, Amy serves as the singer, frontwoman, keyboard player, and songwriter for the sensational band Eden On Fire. With her exceptional vocals, commanding stage presence, and exquisite songwriting skills, Amy is making waves in the music industry. Her talent has been recognized, as she was nominated for Best Vocalist in Erie, PA in 2023.
Amy Gould's story is one of a classically trained Western Pennsylvania girl who followed her dreams and found her true musical calling. With her fierce determination and a sound that combines the best of both rock eras, Amy is destined to become a force to be reckoned with in the symphonic metal and hard rock genres.
